Wedding Elopement

When it comes to vows, second wedding ceremonies are really no different from first ones. However you can choose to make them different. If you don't want to go through the traditional repeating of vows you can choose to write your own. Writing your own vows is perfect for second marriages because you can express your own thoughts and feelings rather than simply repeating what other people tell you to say. Of course if you like the traditional 'til death do us part' vows there is no reason why you can't use them. There are no set rules when it comes to vows for a second or even third wedding.

Another thing you may want to consider when it comes to second weddings is eloping. Rather than going all out for a church wedding why not run off and get hitched at a romantic destination? You may have gone through the expense, stress and planning of a traditional wedding the first time around and don't want to do it again. Eloping is a great idea because it's romantic and actually much cheaper than the average wedding. Of course the price all depends on where you go, where you stay and other details of your trip.

There are elopement packages for couples who want an easy way to tie the knot. Often these packages come with the wedding ceremony, accommodations in a honeymoon suite, complementary champagne and meals, and even photography. Many bed and breakfasts, inns, hotels and chapels all over the country have great packages for couples of all kinds. Whether you want something cheap and simple or extravagant and romantic you can find it. Packages can be as low as $49 (without hotel accommodations of course) and as high as thousands of dollars.

On the subject of vows, second wedding ceremonies can be more creative and personalized than many first weddings. So can the ceremony and what follows after. If you are getting married later in life and don't have any important guests that must be invited eloping and writing your own vows can be a very romantic experience you will remember for a lifetime. Even if you do have friends and family you may want to elope, then come home and plan a party to celebrate the recent nuptials.
